I think the title covers it all....in a simple way, in a deep way and everything in between. For example, I can't say I love the oil "Essential Faith" but I feel compelled to wear it until I decide. That's a pretty shallow use of "love" and somehow connects to God too because of the oil's name.
Or maybe the God connection is because a part of me is searching for a scent that reflects my essence....and what is the search for essence but the search for God, in my way of thinking?
I read that every human has a fragment of ancient stardust linking us to creation....our essence.
Food thoughts today connect me to aging and health. My mother has decided she no longer cooks but once in awhile. So I am making an effort to learn the time consuming preparation of the foods of my youth....moussaka, tomatoes yemistes....dolmathes with avgolemeno. I feel her age, my age and myself as a grown up.
No food blogging today, but food is on my mind in a planning kind of way. What would be the healthiest choices to make for the day...not in the moment but planned out so I don't have to think about it ?
I have no idea what I will write. I have no idea if anyone will want to read what I write. But write I will.
And yes, the blog title is an obvious play on Eat Pray Love.
